Privacy

Your information. Your rules.

Without sovereignty, this would be surveillance with good design. With sovereignty, it's continuity. That's why paradaise was built backwards — from the red line, not toward it.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

What it sees

paradaise observes your digital work activity on your own computer: when you type, which applications you use, your focus rhythms. It's on by default and always visible — the widget shows “Capturing” or “Paused” at all times. You pause it or turn it off whenever you want.

What it never does

  • Never listens to your microphone.
  • Never turns on your camera.
  • Never records your screen.
  • Never sells your personal data — period.

Where it lives

Your capture lives on your own computer, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\paradaise. It is not uploaded to the cloud: there is no copy of your activity on our side. Today the local file is not encrypted — it's protected by your Windows account permissions; encryption at rest is on our roadmap.

Auto-limbo. It detects and isolates passwords, banking data, health information and third-party data before they enter your history, in a separate database that never feeds anything. No automatic detection is perfect: if something slips through, it stays on your computer — it never leaves.

Pause key. A sensitive conversation? Pause capture from the tray icon, whenever you want and for as long as you want, and resume it just as easily. Consent, turned into a button.

Who is responsible

paradaise.id is operated by Somos Originales S.A.P.I. de C.V., based in Mexico City, Mexico. If you have questions about how we treat your data, write to hello@paradaise.id.

This policy is governed by Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). The rights described below correspond to the ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition).

Two separate worlds: your computer and our servers

1. Your computer (the capture). Everything the widget observes — keyboard, applications, focus rhythms — is stored only on your computer. Today the widget does not send your activity to any server of ours: there is no usage telemetry, no remote copy, no sync. You can verify it: the files are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\paradaise and you can open them anytime.

2. Our servers (the website). The only thing we store on servers is what you give us through paradaise.id:

  • Waitlist (form retired on Aug 2, 2026 — download is now direct): we keep your email address and your session language.
  • Founders page: name, email, country, profile and phone number (all optional except email), plus the date and number of times you downloaded the installer.

Neither of these includes your capture. Your activity never gets here.

What we do with your data

Your data doesn't exist to feed advertising. It exists to give you back continuity and self-knowledge.

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Bring your own AI (optional)

If you enable AI analysis, you choose the provider and the mode:

  • Local (Ollama): all analysis happens on your computer. Nothing leaves.
  • Cloud (Gemini): your API key goes directly from your computer to Google, under the terms of your account with them. What is sent are aggregated metrics for the analysis — never the literal content of what you write. Your key is stored only on your computer and never reaches our servers.

This feature is opt-in: off until you configure it.

Producer and Executive Producer (Mission 2)

Inside the widget, Mission 2 offers two ways to participate, with identical unlocking: Producer (free, with the intent of contributing derived metrics to the project) and Executive Producer (paid subscription, everything stays local).

Actual status today:billing is not active and data contribution isn't either — nothing is sent, from anyone, to anywhere. Before activating contribution we will build and publish here the exact detail of what is derived, how it is cleaned and what controls you have. Before charging, we will notify you and publish subscription terms. Neither will be activated silently.

Sub-processors

To operate the site, paradaise.id uses the following providers. None of them has access to your local capture — only to the website's infrastructure:

  • Vercel — site hosting and delivery.
  • Neon — database (Postgres encrypted at rest) for founders (and emails from the former waitlist).
  • Cloudflare — DNS and inbound email routing.
  • GitHub — hosts the installer you download.
  • Google— only if you use AI analysis in cloud mode (see above), or the site's demo.
  • PayPal — processes founders-page support payments. We never see or store card data.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Clerk — account authentication (when enabled).

Each complies with its own security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent). If this list changes, we'll tell you first.

Cookies and monitoring

Today the site uses no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and sells no profiles to data brokers. If we enable accounts in the future, we will use only the cookies necessary to keep your session.

Your rights (ARCO)

Over the data we store on our servers, you have the right to:

  • Access — see everything paradaise has about you.
  • Rectification — modify or correct any data.
  • Cancellation — request complete deletion of your information.
  • Opposition — revoke your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@paradaise.id. We acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and resolve within the legally required timeframes.

Over your local capture you don't need to ask us anything: the files are yours and they live on your computer.

Deletion

On our servers (email and contact data): active data is deleted immediately upon request; encrypted backups disappear within a maximum of 120 days.

On your computer:the files are yours; you can export or delete them yourself anytime. When uninstalling, we ask whether you want to keep or delete them — by default they are kept, so you don't lose your history by accident.

Minors

paradaise.id is not directed at children under 13.

Between 13 and 17, use requires the express consent of a parent or guardian. One of the product's goals is to contribute to learning and personal development, so use by minors requires the accompaniment of a responsible adult.

Security measures

The site travels encrypted (TLS) and the site's database is encrypted at rest. Internal access is restricted to authorized personnel of Somos Originales S.A.P.I. de C.V. The administrative, technical and physical measures applied by paradaise.id meet the reasonable standards required by the LFPDPPP.

In July 2026 we put the widget through a full penetration test: of the actionable vulnerabilities found, all 7 that were product code are closed and verified.

Transparency: the installer does not yet have a code-signing certificate (Authenticode), so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning when installing it. We publish the SHA-256 hash of every version so you can verify your download. Installation is per-user, with no administrator permissions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll email you before it takes effect. We never apply retroactive changes without your consent. If the widget ever gains a feature that talks to our servers (for example, a news channel), this policy will be updated before that feature exists, not after.
